Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with departure from Ouarzazate, heading toward Taznakht, renowned as the capital of authentic Amazigh carpets. Continue through the changing landscapes to Foum Zguid, where you'll enter the desert trail crossing the ancient dry bed of Lake Iriki. Arrive at the magnificent Erg Chegaga dunes in late afternoon, where you'll be welcomed at our exclusive desert camp. After settling in, witness a spectacular sunset over the Sahara's tallest dunes. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner prepared by our camp chefs, followed by an evening of storytelling and music around the campfire under the incredible desert stars. Overnight in comfortable nomadic-style tents.
Wake early to experience the magical sunrise over the dunes, followed by a hearty Berber breakfast. Today features an unforgettable camel trek through the desert, guided by experienced local camel handlers. Traverse diverse desert terrain including massive dunes, expansive plains, and acacia groves, with a traditional tea break in the shade of desert vegetation. Return to camp for lunch or enjoy a picnic amidst the dunes. The afternoon offers optional quad biking adventures across the sandy expanses. As evening falls, participate in a special Saharan celebration complete with traditional music, dance performances, and authentic nomadic hospitality. Second night in desert camp.
After breakfast amidst the peaceful morning desert atmosphere, begin your return journey via the desert track. Cross through the remarkable Iriki National Park, observing the unique desert ecosystem. Continue through Foum Zguid and Taznakht, with opportunities for last-minute souvenir shopping of authentic Amazigh crafts. Arrive back in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, concluding your immersive desert expedition with lasting memories of Sahara's magic and Berber hospitality.
