Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, enjoy a guided tour of the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, situated on the Atlantic coastline. The mosque is renowned for its intricate tilework, towering minaret, and breathtaking ocean views. Dinner will be served at your hotel, allowing you to relax and prepare for your Moroccan adventure.
After breakfast, journey from Casablanca to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, known for its fascinating history and cultural richness. Rabat, a city of 2 million, is located along the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River. You’ll visit the stunning Hassan Tower, an incomplete mosque with a tall minaret where storks nest, a symbol of Rabat. Next, explore the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the charming Kasbah of the Udayas, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and stroll through peaceful Andalusian gardens. After the tour, check in to your hotel.
Today, we’ll depart for Fes, stopping first at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Marvel at the preserved mosaics, triumphal arches, and columns of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Meknes, where you’ll explore the vibrant medina, historical gates, and the impressive Bab Mansour. Enjoy lunch in Meknes before heading to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual capital, where you’ll check in to your hotel for the evening.
Today, immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Fes, starting with a guided tour of its historic medina, a UNESCO site known for its labyrinthine streets. Visit Al Quaraouiyine University, one of the oldest universities in the world, the ornate Bou Inania Madrasa, and the beautiful Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Explore the bustling souks, artisan workshops, and the Mellah, the Jewish quarter. Your local guide will ensure you don’t miss any hidden gems, and you’ll sample local cuisine before returning to your hotel.
After breakfast, journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture.
Continue to Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and playful Barbary monkeys.
