Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech - Jemaa El Fna

Upon your arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, our friendly driver will greet you and transport you to Jemaa El Fna, the vibrant heart of Marrakech.

This bustling square is alive with musicians, dancers, and delicious street food aromas.

After taking in the sights, you’ll head to your hotel or riad to settle in and rest for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Marrakech - Jemaa El Fna - Majorelle Gardens - Koutoubia Mosque - Souks

Today, dive into the cultural wonders of Marrakech with a knowledgeable local guide.

Explore Jemaa El Fna, the Majorelle Gardens, and the Koutoubia Mosque.

The local souks offer a maze of colorful stalls with everything from spices to handmade crafts.

By evening, return to your accommodation to relax.

Day 3: Marrakech - Argan Tree Forest - Essaouira

In the morning, we’ll head towards the coastal city of Essaouira, passing through unique Argan forests where goats famously graze in the trees. Upon arrival in Essaouira, visit the Skala fortress, Moulay El Hassan Square, and the historic Jewish district.

Enjoy a peaceful evening at a local hotel.

Day 4: Exploring Essaouira’s Medina & Beaches

Start your day wandering Essaouira’s charming medina, where ancient Portuguese architecture meets lively Moroccan culture.

A camel trek along the serene beach (optional) offers a unique way to enjoy the city’s seaside charm.

The historic Skala, Moulay El Hassan Square, and the Jewish District complete your day before a restful night at the hotel.

Day 5: Essaouira - Casablanca - Rabat

Depart Essaouira for Casablanca, Morocco’s economic powerhouse, and enjoy views of the Atlantic coast.

In Casablanca, visit the Hassan II Mosque.

Then, continue to Rabat, where you’ll explore the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the majestic Hassan Tower, and the scenic Oudayas Kasbah, perched over the ocean.

Day 6: Rabat - Asilah - Tangier

Leaving Rabat, travel to Asilah, a charming town known for its whitewashed walls and art murals. After a visit, continue to Tangier, the legendary gateway between Africa and Europe.

Explore the city’s sights, including the Kasbah and the bustling port area, before settling into your hotel for the night.

Day 7: Tangier - Rif Mountains - Chefchaouen

Today’s journey takes you through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the iconic blue-washed city nestled in the hills.

Wander the medina, visit the central square (Outa el Hammam), and enjoy a relaxed evening exploring local souks before heading to your hotel.

Day 8: Chefchaouen - Roman Ruins of Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

In the morning, depart Chefchaouen for Volubilis, an impressive Roman archaeological site.

After exploring the ruins, continue to Meknes, known for its massive gates and palaces.

Enjoy lunch here before proceeding to Fes, where you’ll check into your hotel for the night.

Day 9: Full-Day Exploration of Fes

Spend a full day discovering the wonders of Fes with a local guide.

Highlights include the Al Karaouine University, the Jewish Mellah, and the maze-like Medina.

Wander souks filled with artisanal goods and sample the city’s renowned cuisine before returning to your hotel.

Day 10: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga

After breakfast, we set out for Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to playful wild monkeys. Drive through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains and reach the desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga.

Here, you’ll embark on a camel trek across the Sahara dunes to a Berber camp where traditional music and a night under the stars await.

Day 11: Merzouga - Nomad Families - Camel Trek & Desert Camp

This morning, visit a local nomad family to experience the Berber way of life and discover unique handicrafts.

In the afternoon, enjoy another camel ride into the dunes to reach a secluded desert camp, where a traditional Moroccan dinner and live music around a campfire set the perfect atmosphere.

Day 12: Merzouga - Erfoud - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Catch a magical desert sunrise before heading to Tinghir, passing through Erfoud.

Reach Todra Gorges, with towering red cliffs and scenic landscapes.

Continue to Dades Valley for an overnight stay with breathtaking valley views.

Day 13: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Today’s drive takes you from Dades Valley through Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit film studios and the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech, completing a day of remarkable scenery.

 

Day 14: Marrakech Exploration

Enjoy a day of leisure to revisit your favorite spots in Marrakech, explore new areas, or indulge in a spa day.

You may also choose to take an optional excursion to the scenic Ourika Valley, nestled in the Atlas Mountains, where you can explore Berber villages, lush landscapes, and beautiful waterfalls.

This free day is yours to shop, relax, and immerse yourself in Marrakech’s vibrant culture.

Day 15: Departure from Marrakech

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a leisurely morning before your airport transfer. Take one last look at Morocco’s wonders before saying goodbye with cherished memories and a desire to return.
